Substitute For Ailing Soprano at Saturday’s Opera Gala
Theresa Cincione,who sang the title role in last May's hugely successful Madama Butterfly with Granite State Opera,will perform at the company's Opera Gala Concert this Saturday, January 13th at 8 p.m.at The Music Hall. Ms.Cincione will be substituting for Barbara Quintiliani, a Quincy, Massachusetts native and winner of the 1999 National Grand Prize at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition.
