Friends of Granite State Opera
Want to become involved in an exciting new opera company? There are many ways you can help. We're looking for people who want to make a difference in the quality of life in New Hampshire. It doesn't matter if you know little, or a great deal, about opera.

What will you get as a volunteer?
An opportunity to meet and work with great people who are all committed to bringing great opera to New Hampshire. You'll know that you are making a difference, no matter how much or how little time you have to offer. And you'll have the opportunity to use your skills and talents, or develop new ones!

The Friends of Granite State Opera are represented throughout southern New Hampshire. Our Friends can help in a variety of areas, such as what's listed below.

• Assist with Annual Auction
• Assist with Annual Holiday Magic Event
• Organize and attend Annual Season Announcement and Fundraiser
• kickoff event
• Assist with soirees
• Host soirees
• Host small dinner parties to increase awareness of Granite State Opera
• Distribute and collect surveys at performances
• Distribute posters and postcards in appropriate places throughout the state
• Sell Program Ads
• Help organize community concerts
• Clip newspaper articles about Granite State Opera
• Become a member of Opera Volunteers International, an affiliate organization of
• Opera America. Its purpose is to help and educate guilds around the world
• assist their opera companies. There is a small fee for joining OVI, but it entitles
• you to many benefits, including attending the annual conference in a different US
• or Canadian city each spring. Check it out.
